I am a Toronto-based photographer who was first introduced to photography when I was around 8 or 9 years old, when my parents bought me a 110mm film camera (remember those?). As a teenager, I started using my Dad’s Nikon FT2, and my passion for photography has grown since.

I moved over into the digital world in the early 2000s, when I got a cheap Kodak point-and-shoot and played around with various other point-and-shoots, while still using the film SLR.  In 2007, I made the jump and got my first DSLR...a Nikon D40x.  I was still just doing casual photography at that time, going back and forth between the DSLR and point-and-shoots, until I decided to start learning more about digital photography in 2011.

I started absorbing whatever information I could on various photography websites and YouTube channels, and practiced different photography techniques along the way. I take a lot of different types of photos, but really enjoy nature photography, including landscapes, wildlife and macro.
